Six Month Smiles® Procedure
If you are deemed a suitable candidate for treatment with this system, Dr. Rizvi will place tooth-colored brackets on your teeth and secure a clear orthodontic wire over them.
Six Month Smiles® utilizes a unique method for attaching brackets to the teeth. At My Dentist For Life, we will create custom-made trays to ensure the brackets are placed in the optimal position for maximum tooth movement and efficiency. The wire will be attached to the brackets using transparent ligatures, which are not visible. The bonding between the brackets and teeth will be hardened with a visible LED light.
Within a month, you will begin to see improvements in your tooth alignment and facial aesthetics. After approximately 6 months of wearing the braces and achieving perfectly aligned teeth, the brackets will be removed and you will be provided with a fixed or removable retainer to prevent your teeth from shifting back to their original position.
